YL Capernaum begins in Pittsburgh
A few passionate and faithful people saw a need in their community. Young Life Capernaum was established as they started showing up in the world of kids with disabilities and sharing the message of God's love through Jesus in ways and words they could understand and relate to.

yl cAPERNAUM IS Strong & gROWING
A team of Young Life leaders are consistently working with friends from all over the South Hills to build authentic relationships. Through monthly clubs, weekly campaigners, and daily contact work the message of God's love is being told every day.

KATELYN NASSAR
Katelyn attended Grove City College where she majored in Elementary and Special Education. During college, she was also a WyldLife volunteer leader in Sharon, PA. Her love for kids with disabilities and passion for sharing the love of Christ led her to join Young Life staff.
